Hole 5 is another uphill hole that starts on an open fairway, but heads back into the woods, where you’ll face a few challenges.

Once you clear the entrance to the woods, you’ll encounter a water-filled sinkhole. On shorter drives, it’s not a huge factor, but more powerful drivers will have to decide if they want to try to clear it. Shoot too far and you run the risk of wading into the stagnant water to retrieve your driver.

Putting can be tricky on Hole 5 as well. If you overthrow your approach shot, you might have to putt in the direction of the sinkhole. There’s a steep decline from the basket back to the sinkhole, and missed putts can end up in the drink as easily as a drive.

To reach Hole 6

After putting, a trail will lead you back out to the end of the walking trail, near the upper baseball and soccer fields. To reach Hole 6, walk down the road past the baseball field and toward the park entrance. Hole 6 will be on the left, near the Kennedy Park sign.
